What we do

Music generates money from both the composition and the recording. Your distributor covers the recording side. The songwriter's side — the composition — follows the path shown below. Many independent writers never complete that path, so unclaimed money later gets redistributed to those who did register.

A work takes only moments to add in your dashboard — title, writers, and splits. Then we create the file ready for registration and prepare delivery, without spreadsheets or a dozen society portals.

Delivered the way the majors deliver.
We send your works using CWR, the standard format across the industry — filing them directly with collection societies that monitor your mechanical and performance royalties around the world.
04Watched
Filed isn't finished.
Every delivery gets an acknowledgment file back. We review each one — correcting rejections and tracking down duplicates — so your dashboard reflects what's truly confirmed.
05Paid
Collected, split, and shown to you.
Dozens of sources return royalties in dozens of formats. We turn them into itemized statements — by song, society, and royalty type. Our commission is deducted from collections, never paid from your pocket.

You keep full ownership of your compositions, your masters, and your sync rights. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice — no minimum term, no lock-in.

Your dashboard tracks every song as submitted, registered, or awaiting your input — the status changes as the work advances, before you need to ask.
Direct to the societies.
We use our publisher memberships and each society's required formats. Your catalog reaches the people paying it without a white-label intermediary.
We earn only when you do.
There are no minimums or upfront fees. We take our commission only from the money we collect for you — never before it arrives.

Found Royalties is a publishing administrator built for independent songwriters. Whoever files your registrations also responds to your email. There are no account-manager layers or ticket queues — if a society rejects a work, a person here reviews the acknowledgment and corrects it. The roster stays intentionally small, so we know each catalog we administer.
